It is stated that Sir Jaincs "Wilson has purchased a farm at Tc Horo.
A move is on foot to hold, a Rifle Club ball at Tc Horo. Similar functions some years ago were most successful, and it is hoped to hold a gathering on .the. same lines. Opportunity might also be taken of giving Mr Catlcy, president of the club, a fitting send-off. Road metalling is now in full swing at Te Horo, and the roads are therefore in bad ordpr for motorists. Mr A. G. McDonald shortly leaves To Horo for Levin, where he will follow his occupation as builder. Private C. Strom was among the men who returned by the Pakcha. Needless to say ho received a warm reception.
Private E. Diaper, who is still at Codford, is reported to be looking well. He has recently - made extensive trips, covering England and Scotland. Miss Mackay, who has severed her connection with the Tc Horo .State school, was presented, on behalf of the school children on Friday, with a nice suede bag. The gift was suitably acknowledged.
Mr John Faith has resumed the managership of the Te Horo Co-op. Stores, until such time as a man is broken in to his duties.. Mr Wilfrid Cook to-day joined the staff.
