TOWN BOARD ELECTION.
Nominations for the, position of Commissioner on the Otaki Town Board, for the vacancy caused by the retirement of Mr W. H. Reynolds, closed at noon to-day. Three nominations were received, viz.,
Mackie, John —Nominated by Mts A. W. Broadway and Mr G. Brnmlcy. Noble, William —Nominated by Messrs Puku Bikihana and Remana Te Hana. 1
Williams, Charles Henry—Nominated by Messrs R. Tihiwi and Rota Bikihana.
Tho election will take place on Wednesday, 11th June.
