HOCKEY.
A hockey tournament will bo hold under tho auspices of tho Manawatu Association at Palmerston North on •Juno 3rd, and clubs from this district have been asked to participate. Otaki has decided to put in at least one team, while Tainui and Te Iloro is to bo asked to do likewise.
Mr Dudderidge, mine host of the Family Hotel, has generously donated S 3 2s towards the funds of tho Tainui Club.
Owing to difficulty in procuring jerspys the colours of the Tainui Club have been changed to green and yellow (hoops).
