Mr Will Law*on, the well-known' journalist and jwejt, was a visitor -to Otaki veaterdav.
Miss Milfer, of the Otaki school staff, who is away on leave for the purpose of visiting the Old Country, has arrived in England.. An old identity, Mrs Tho*. Bay, died at CJareviJlc or: Saturday, aged 7-3 year*.- Deceased was well known and highly respected.
Mr and Mrs Mowbray and family", of Rongpkokako, have decided to take up residence in the Otaki district, where they previously resided. Prior to leaving they were entertained by a number of friends, and made the recipients of TircTcntations.
H 1* reported that Major Samuel has decided to contest ibJ IJolorua seat at the nest geherai election. Major .Samuel informed a "Mail" representative, only a few weeks ago, that he v.-oujd be out for the Otaki seat.
