Mr W. H. Field, M.P., who has been | on a visit to the South Island, returned
to Wellington yesterday. Mrs Jeremiah Hurley, who ha* been very ill in Wellington, is now making good progress towards recovery. Mr Bentiey BateeD, who spent several months in Otaki for health reasons, is. now enjoying better health at Ms home is Marion. A cablegram has been received frost Mr and Mrs Malcolm Maclean, ©I Paraparesasa, announcing their arrival Li England, and saying that, they found their son Robin and their nephews {Williaxa and Walter Taylor, of Otaki) ! welL- These three are tsitfi the ■ K-ZJLF. Mrs J. G. Poynter, late of Otaki and now of Auckland, paid a flying visit to this town yesterday. She left for Hamilton, where her mother is ill, this morning. -
