OBITUARY.

MRS JOS. NOBLE. Mrs Noble,.wife of Mr Joseph Noble, of Otaki, a very old and highly esteemed resident of this died 041 Sunday morning last, aged 63 years. Mrs KVblo had been ailing for a long time past, and for some considerable time it was known that her recovery was. "hopeless. She bore her illness wiLgrsat fortitude, and passed quietly '•"away. Mrs Noble was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs G. Bell, of Otaki, and had lived here for a great many years. .She will be greatly missed by a great many friends throughout the entire district. Deceased leaves a husband and ■ a . grown-up family of ton; — Mcsdamcs A. A*. Bright, Nat. Williams and Henry BeVan, Miss Mora Noble, Messrs William, George, James, Victor, Horaee and Con. Noble, all well known in Otaki and district. One son, Joseph,,! died a few years ago. Messrs George, | "William and Charles 8011, and Mes- 1 dames Cotter (Wellington), J. Ryder (Levin), and Miss Bell, Hincura (Hamilton) are brothers and sisters of deceased. . j

The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, being conducted by the Kev. G. F. Petrio, M.A. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends, and many floral tributes were sent fey sorrowirig friends. An impressive service was held at the Anglican Church and another at the graveside.
