Tho weather was fine but gusty, and ssering was low in consequence. Rifleman Best, of tho Hautere Club, was top scorer of the day with 61. The Match was noteworthy as being the first time that. \ho Hautere Club has been beaten on its own range, and the third. " time in club matches, siueo its ineaption eleven years ago.
