SPORTS AT TE HORO.

A GREAT SUCCESS

The sports in connection with the Te Horo Daiiy Co., held at Te Horo on Easter Monday, proved highly successful, despite adverse weather conditions. The ground was in good outer for events; all of which caused'keen competition." The entries were numerous, and fine racing eventuated throughout. The management aw deserving of the highest praise, while the joint secretaries, Messrs Patten and McDonald, were the right men in the right place. Messrs R. Harkncss, August, Wildsmith and Westaway officiated as judges, and also gave valuable assistance in handicapping. The ladies, as usual, were well to the fore, and supplied refreshments on a liberal scale.
