MBS EANKIN'S ADDEESSSS.
Mrs Rankin, a visitor to the Dominion, gave an open-air address at Waikanac, near the railway station, on Friday evening last, when there was a geod audience, Thoro wore a few disturbances, but Mrs Rankin proved an adept in dealing with interrupters and scored freely off them. Mrs Rankin also addressed a public meeting in the Coronation Hall, Paraparaumu, the same evening, there being a fair number present. Mr F. Cordukcs occupied the chair. Mrs Rankin was listened to attentively, though there was a little disturbance outside during tho meeting. On the motion of Mr Killick, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the speaker.
On Saturday evening Mrs Rankin addressed a large and orderly meeting in the streets of Manakau, Mr Ley. Atkins in the chair. The speaker gave sn eloquent and forceful address, and was heartily applauded. Later lh» same evening Mrs Rankin spoke at Levin before a great crowd of people, for the space of two hours. East night Mrs Rankin spoke at tho Manakau Methodist Church, and afterwards addressed another largo public meeting at Levin.
