Mr E. Ivory, of Otaki, has seeured a fine IS-month-old colt (Demosthenesout of an English-bred mare) from Messrs Dwan Bros. Mr Ivory alsohopes to secure American Beauty from the same owners. It is reported that Manu has broken down. ;• The tax paid to the Government by -fho Wairarapa Club in connection with its-recent meeting totalled £1693.
