FATHER CRONIN VISITS OTAKI.
.: ON-SUNDAY NEXT.
The 'priest who conducted what is perhaps .the 'most wonderful meeting, in many ways, ever hold in Wellington, visits Otaki next Sunday evening. Wellington turned out en ni'asso to hear the sturdy advocate' of Prohibition. The huge crowd rapidly tilled Wellington's big Town Hall; the doors were locked. The hundreds unable to obtain admission overflowed into the large concert hall. That, too, 'soon was packed. ' The police again locked the doors, disap- i
pointing hundreds. Father Cronin will give tho same address in Otaki next Sunday evening in the theatre, dealing with the forthcoming election from quite a new angle. A-crowded house is anticipated. The difference of opinion between Bishop Brodie and Father Cronin, details of which were telegraphed by the Press Association, some weeks ago, has created an intense desire on the part of the public to hear Father Cronin [ for themselves. More particularly so," as the rev. father, in the nature of things, can introduce new matter, and quote authorities and opinions which arc entirely fresh to an' Otaki audi- ' once. Father Cronin's speech through- , out. is characterised by a frankuoss that is refreshing, whilst his unfailing I good humour and entire freedom from I malice keeps the audience in fine spirit throughout. Tho theatre doors will | open at S o'clock, and the address will . start punctually at 8.15 p.m. J
