CATHOLIC CONCERT.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY. The Catholic concert to be held at Otaki on Monday night next- (tit. Patrick’s Day) promises to be an excellent one, and should bo freely patronised. Otaki residents seldom have the opportunity of listening to first-class-artists,-and the management has been fortunate in securing many very clever Wellington performers. Miss Driscoll is one- of Wellington's leading sopranos, while Miss .Simpson is a flautist of distinction, and Miss •Madden is ono of’Miss Beexe’s most l promising pupils. ’Misses Hazel Jofferys and Zetn Chapman have a Dominion wide reputation as elocutionists, both having won many prizes at tho leading competitions. The two visiting male vocalists, Messrs V. Woods and IV. Condic, are said to be singers rar abovo the average, while the local performers whose names appear on the programme arc all favourites. With such a really tip-top programme, the greater part contributed by Wellington star performers, there should be a bumper house on Monday night, and all who attend may safely anticipate a musical treat.
