FOUND DEAD AT MANAKAU
INQUEST. At the inqiicst on the body of Harry Smith, found dead in a wliare at Manakatt, a verdict 'of death from natural causes,was returned. Mr P. IV. Goldsmith, . J.P., was acting-coroner, while Mr D.- R. Bathgate was foreman of the jury. Evidence .was given by James Nicholson that lie saw deceased alive on Sunday night and in his usual health, while Fred'Burnell and Walter Berg gave evidence as to finding deceased dead. The sum of £34 9s Gd was found in deceased’s whare.
