Perfect weather prevailed on Wednesday, and bowlers were in good spirit. Playing in the singles contest two games woro very one-sided, but tho match l/ituoca A. Smith -and Knight was closely contested. It ended in a win for tho latter by two points—--17-15. Anderson had an easy victory over St. George, 25-13, while Bills had a walk-over frtm Canning, 26-9. In a friendly game O’Ronrko won front Winuley, 21-11. A rink is expected from Wellington to-morrow, and provided the weather holds good an enjoyable match should result. The local club will be represented by O’Rourke, Brown, D. Noblo and Satherlcy. In the afternoon it is expected the personnel will bo entirely changed. Playing on tho local bowling green' last evening. It. F. Smith beat Nicholls, 31-10.
