EETUENED SOLDIERS KEEUSE INVITATION. Cnri3tcnurca, March 11. A garden party was given this afternoon by the Governor-General and Lady Lirerpool to the returned soldiers,but the majority of the 60 soldiers who are patients in the Christchurch Hospital declined the invitation owing to the fact that it would be- necessary to attend in the blue hospital uniform, which they objected to. At a meeting of the Beturaed Soldiers' Association to-night, . a motion was carried expressing regret that ixrangements were not made to allgw soldiers from hospital to attend the function ia dress uniform.
