RIFLE SHOOTING.
HAUTERB RIFLE QLUB. The Hautere.' Rifle Club started its annual competitions-for the champion- ; ship of the club on Saturday, March ! Ist, under ideal conditions as to weai ther and-attendance, there being 12 ! members present. Some fair scores were ; made. The shooting was over the 200 : yards range. Following, are the-scores:" H. S. Beauchamp 34 G. P. Catley 34 W.Jepsou 33 A. Thomson 33 E. Taylor 30. L. Catley 30 G. Dodds 29 J. Griffith 29 P. Guy 27 G. Hayward 24 A. Cooper 23 H. Taylor 21 Shooting will be resumed on Saturday, loth inst. Members are asked to attend all competitions for the belt.
