(Special to the “Mail.”) Later. The first, reading of, appointments of. intorest to “Mail” readers:' —Otaki, G. W. Slade, M.A.; Waiuku, Hedley AVhite; Eltham, H. Cottom; Pctone, B. J. James; Palmerston North, G. H. Cook; South Wairarapa, B. -B. Gosnell; Mastcrton, J. Cocker; Hastings, A. MeBean; Baliiatua, J. L. Minifie; other Wellington circuits, no change. The Rev. C. H. Laws, 8.A., yesterday was unanimously appointed principaldesignate of the Methodist Theological l College at Auckland, and will commence duties in April next year (appointment for six yews). The appoint-, ment is a .particularly happy one. Last night the Revs. P. J. Cooke, O. Bur-net, J. L. Minifie, G. W. Slade, F. T. Harris, E. T. Olds were ordained ministers in-full connexion.. Four of these six arc returned soldiers.
