A meeting of stewards of the Horowhcn'ua Racing Club was held on Monday night for the purpose of .considering a telegram from the Racing Conference- relative to holding a meeting by the club during the remainder of the present racing season. The meeting agreed to accept the offer of the Conference, and recommended that the gathering be held on May 28th, subject to (he approval of the Conference,
