J A meeting of the" committee of the above was held in the Library on Mon-day-.evening, when arrangements were, made for the Autumn Show, which will be held in the Town Hall on WednesIday, March :12th next. Correspondence was read from Messrs H. Poole, G. B. Bobbie, F. O. Smith, and Mrs Imrie, consenting to act as I judges. \ t Class stewards were appointed asi I under: —Pot plants and cut blooms. Messrs Reynolds and Broadway; fruit and vegetables, Messrs Small and Cockrcll; bouquets and decorations, Mesdames Reynolds and Kilniister; domes-, tic, Mrs Synnott and Mr L. Kilmistcr; ; schoolwork, Rev. Petrie; needlework, Miss Bradey and Miss Penn; tea rooms, ill's S. Norgrove; sweets stall, Mrs Hodgson; sheep guessing competition, Mrs-Huthwaitc; music. Rev. Petrie. Arrangements for lunch, , erecting stands, etc., were left in the hands of the secretary.
