A NEW ARMISTICE.

TO MEET THE TRUCULENT GERMANS. Facie, February li. The armistice terms will be ready tomorrow or on Thursday at the latest, and will be sent to the Germans on Monday morning. Sub-committees have been appointed to report on suggested alterations to the terms. They consist of two delegates from each Power, one civilian and the other a military expert. All the commandcrs-in-chicf will confer to-day. The Supreme Council is considering the shortening of the armistice periods to ten days, at the end of which new torins will be imposed on Germany. This will allow the Allies to meet constantly and change the conditions. New York, February XI. Herr Erzerberger, speaking at Turin, said: “If the new conditions of the armistice are too severe, we will not sign themi and will thus remain in a state which is neither peace nor war.’’
