Mrs Hildreth, of Otaki, has received advice that her husband.. Private J. Hildreth, is returning to New Zealand, and is c-xpeetcd to arrive here in about a fortnight’s time. -V considerable number of residents assembled to pay their last respects to an old friend and respected resident, at the funeral of the late Mr D. Roxburgh, which took place at Otaki on Wednesday afternoon last. Many beaut if til wreaths were laid on the casket. The service was impressively, conducted by the Eev. Hedley White.
