ADDINGTON MARKET. Christchurch, February .12. At Addington market to-day there were larger yardings in all . departments than the week before. There was a numerous attendance, especially of those interested in store sheep. The quality of the best store- lambs was not equal to that of last week’s offerings, but there was a keen demand for forward rape iambs, forward wethers and good young breeding ewes. Fat lambs were firm, and fat sheep prices were above export level until towards the end of the sale. Fat cattle were rather firmer, but stores were difficult to dispose of.

Fat Lambs. Extra prime, to 30s, piimo lambs 26s 9(1 to 30s ‘ld, medium lambs 21s to 26s fid, lighter lambs 21s to 23s Cd.

Store Sheep.—Best 2-tooth ewes 28s 2d to 3-1 s (id. smaller 2-tooth ewes 21s (id to 28s, -1-tooth ewes 29s 6d to 3.35, sound-mouth ewes 26s to 295, rape owes ?7s to 19s, 2-tooth wethers 22s to 235, inferior 2-tooths 18s to 21s. 4 and 0tootli wethers 25s -to 30s, best rape lambs 20s to 2-ls, medium lambs 16s 6d to 9s Od, light lambs 9s 9d to 10s, ewe lambs 17s to 23s Od.
