Saturday’s weather enticed many bowlers out, and in consequence the green at Otaki presented an animated appearance. Three matches for the singles trophies were played and aroused interest. Olliver had a “walkover” from Edwards, 23-0, but the score card is not available. Smith beat Ayro, 10-12, after an interesting game, while 1). Noble defeated Knight, 21-13.
