There was on improved demand 'for store sheep as u result of the general rttin. Fat lambs showed little change, except 'that light sorts sold bettor. Fat snoop' were firmer by i about Is "per head. Fat cattle sold, if anything, at slightly improved rates, ! and.thero were soma bettir quality steers on offer. There was a very good demand for store and dairy cattle, and pigs of all classes sold well. Store Sheep—Two-tooth wethers 21s 3d to 22s lOd, 4 and G-tooth wethers 25s 3d to 30s 9d, 2-tooth ewes 2Ss 6d to 33s 9d, 4 and G-tooth ewes 30s lid to 33s 6d, 6 and 8-tooth owes 29s 5d to v 32s 4d,'"bcst rape lambs 21s to 23s Sd, : medium rape lambs 18s to 20s 6d, lighter lambs 15s to 17s Gd. Fat Sheep—Extra prime wethers to •15s, prime wethers 34s 6d to 395, lighter wothers 27s 8d to 31s, prime ewes 33a to 355, medium ewes 29s 6d to 32s Gd, lighter ewes 25s to 295.
