The entries are exceptionally good, and arrangements are complete. It now only requires fine weather to 1 assure another great success for the Show. This annua! function is now ~ lfokcd upon, rightly, as one of the most . important district gatherings, where farmers in particular ran come together, inspect the best stock produced in this i :id neighbouring districts, compare notes, and generally improve their ideas ':i farming. Not only are these annual gatherings of great educational value to the farmer, but they also afford a splen■>'d opportunity for residents of all 1 parts of the district to enjoy a day's " outing and improve t.'.eir social relation- ' t-lip one with another. J Seivers for the best cow or heifer in the purebred division. The present holder is Mr S. Bowker.
