MOTOR ACCIDENT AT LEVIN.
An accident, attended with painful injuries, occurred near Chau on Saturday morning. A large touring motor car, .riven by 3lr Guy Fulton, of Wellington, and containing half a dozen "sports" bound for the Feildirig Ta ;cs, and a car, driven by Mr I harlcs Cotter, of Levin, collided head oil. turned to tl*ii city ay the same train. Although the accidT.t was a bad one, iu is little short of a miracle that then! were not more serious injuries. Both c. rs were considerably battered, and taken into Levin for repairs by the aid cf horses ard cart.
On inquiry at the hospital to-day we learn that Mr Cotter is doing well.' He is considerably bruised and is suffering from a fractured clavicle.
