The following team has been selected to play against Ake-Ake tomorrow : Full back : J. Rogers ; threequarters : Hohaia, Lambie, A. Guy ; five-eighth ; Treweek; halves : N. McLeod, T. Carter, Edmunds ; forwards : Humphries (2), W. McLeod, F. Carter (capt), J. Hickey, Loveridge, Duffill, Pihama. Mr H, Good will act as referee. Players are requested to be on the ground at 8.15. The Union Selection Committee picked the following team to represent Taranaki: —Full back : J. Robinson ; three-quarters: H. Good, A. Bayly, C. Young; five-eighth : L. Allen ; halves: Laing, A. Humphries, W. Bayly; forwards; D. Hughes, W. Lambie, O’Dowda, Standish, Livingstone, Watson and Wells ; emergencies : A. Good, George and Buckley. It is improbable that B. Hughes, the Waimate forward, will be able to play in rep. matches this'season. The Auckland-Taranaki match will be played on Friday, 6th September, not the 2nd, as previously stated.
