FALSE STATEMENTS.
. /to the editor.; Sib, —My attention has been called to statements contained in several local papers to the effect that I intended returning to Eahotu and leaving Opunake. I therefore desire, through your columns, to give such statements a flat denial, and think it is a pity such scribblers cannot find something better to do than concocting lies as correspondents to papers which tend to injure a man's business.—l am, &c, •J. H. Flynn, Bootmaker, Opunake. January Bth, 189-5.
