Messrs Budge and Good’s Report Owing to the holidays very little stock has come forward at each of the sales, for the same reason prices have been exceptionally low. We quote —At Eaponga: On the 28th, 3 to 3J-year old store bullocks, £4 10s 6d; 18 months to 2-year old steers, £3 Ss ; 18-month steers, £2 9s to £2 16s; store cows, £2 6d to £3 4s; cows and calves, £4 Is; calves, 22s to 28s. At Manaia, on the 31st, we quote—-3-year old forward bullocks, £4l2s 6d ; 20 months to 2-year old steers, £8 10s; 18-month steers, £2 13s 6d to £2 16s; springers £Blss; heifers, very forward,.; £4 5s to £5 2s 6d; lambs, 5s 3d ; old ewes, 2s 6d to 3s.
