From a good start, Mutiny alternately led with Castlebar. Waterbury refused* early in the race, and Tatta in the last round. At tho sheds Outres, Sneaker, and Helios closed on Mutiny, who had attained a decided lead, and a desperates race homo followed. The placed horses took the last jump together, Helios looking like a winner, but Mutiny came gallantly on and won by a short head, admid great cheering, Sneaker being half a length away.
