TO THE EDITOR
UNNECESSARY USE OF PETROL? Sir,—We have been asked, and rightly so. to save petrol so as to save dollars and thus help Britain. Much has been directed at the car and truck owner. What about the motor cyclist! Is he not included in this also. 1 do not want to appear prejudiced against this particular class of motorist, but two things have been forced on my notice lately. Certainly this class of vehicle may be claimed to be the least amongst petrol consumers. However a number of these machines running all at once on a mission which docs not appear to have any particular usefulness seems to me to be rather a contradiction. The second tiling is that this motorist with his noisy exhaust does not appear to have much consideration for church services or those desiring just a little quietness for just a few hours on just one day of the week. I may have it all wrong but I just thought J would like to mention it. ENQUIRER.
