CALF CLUB SHOWS
COMMENCEMENT NEXT WEEK Interest in the Calf Club project in the schools in the Opotiki district is sustained and indications are that the competition in the forthcoming shows will be as keen as ever. Next week, all the schools in the association’s area (from Waiuiana to Raukokore) will be holding their shows. From these club shows the champion calves in the respective classes will be found. These calves will then meet in competition at the championship show to be held at Opotiki on Thursday 4th. Dec. Show Days 18th. Nov.—Omaio-Raukokore. 25th. Nov.—Waiotahi. 26th.
