LOVE AND FISHES
A COUPLE GET A HAUL (By “Arrissimo”) Two iocal young lovers visited i the popular rendezvous known as “Snell’s Beach” Sunday week and sitting on the sand talking sweet nothings as lovers do. My, my, I’m getting quite romantic in my old age. Well the boy was gazing into the fair damsel’s blue eyes anjl the girl was stroking his head and purring like the proverbial feline—gee, that sounds a bit catty. Anyhow let it go at that. Well the unexpected happened.; Now stop guessing. A wave a little larger than the ordinary washed up a shoal of macherel at their feet. Love flew out —no there was no window. Anyway it vanished as the two young things quickly got to work and bagged . . . (Now where did the sack come from). Anyhow they duly arrived home with 181 fine fish in a . sack. This love is a marvellous thing. Well go to the beach on Sundays and try it out; seems fairly good advice to budding lovers.
