SCHOOL PICNIC (New s Correspondent.) Nukiihou North School pupils and parents spent u most enjoyable breaking-up last I'riday. The function took the lorm ol a picnic ami* presell la Linn ol prizes and gifts. 'l'lie picnic was held on Mr. It. Doian’s farm, and a hearty vote ol thanks was passed to him for his kindness. All enjoyed a tasty luncheon and dainty afternoon tea. and plenty of ice-cream and sweets. Bacek and games were the order ol the day. During the a I tiorimon-toa adjournment, the School-master presented the tiny tots with toys and the school children with lovely honks. Mr. N. Macdonald 1 , chairman ol the school committee, then expressed his regret at the less ol the schoolmaster, Mr. Ball-Guymer, who is leaving the district. Although lie had only been „|. the school a short lime, he had won t| K . affection of all the pupils. Mr. Macdonald wished Mr. Dull Giiynim everv success iu the future. Mr. Ball(iumycr thanked Mr. Macdonald f»r his kind remarks, and said he and Mrs. Ball-Ouvmer had enjoyed then stay at Nukiilmii very' much and' would take most pleasant memones ol their stay at Niikulio-u with them.
