Dr. Mail very kindly came along and examined the hoys in aspects of First Aid work. The results of {the examination show that the following hoys gained St. John Ambulance Certificates. Bobbie Tew. ’ , , SCHOOLS’ CALF CLUB ANNUAL FIELD DAY The Opotiki District Schools held their annual field day for the Call Clubs at the grounds of the Opotiki District High School, on Tuesday, December 12. ■ There was a small but enthusiastic group of followers. • Although the entry list was small the class of the animals was \;ery high. At the conclusion of the judging. Mr. G. Vanstone apologised l for theabsence of the president, Mr. ’W- , Beattie and on behalf of the president and committee he thanked Mr. TWardlaw for so kindly coming front Waimana to judge the calves.
