OBITUARY
MBS. M. M. HAYNES The death has occurred of Mrs. Margery Mcmteitli Haynes, of Whukatane, who was known to a wide circle of friends in the Bay ol Plenty. Born in Thames 36 years ago, Mrs. Haynes received her education at the Thames High School, going on later to Auckland where she took up nursinir, and where later she was married. Doming to the Bay of Plenty fourteen years ago, the family settled first at Opotiki where Mr. Haynes was employed by tho Bay of Plenty Power Board. Eighteen months later they shifted to Whakatano, where they made their present home. Ol a retiring naturo Mrs. Haynes was a great home maker and those who knew her esteemed her ns a friend and neighbour. She leaves her husband, and three children, Coleman, Soutcr and Tjtargery, for whom the greatest sympathy will ho felt.
