An important general meeting of the Opotiki committee uill be held in the Mission Hall next Tuesday night at 8 o’clock. Members are especially asked to. attend. Athletic- Sports. Ait error occurred in the report ol the sports meeting in Wednesday’s issue of the News, when reference was made to the non-appearance of Waimana competitors. Actually the report should have referred to the lack of support of local competitors to encourage' Waimana competitors who travel so far to attend the Opotiki meeting.
