FLOWER SHOW

HELD AT WOODLANDS SPLENDID DISPLAY The annual flower show held by the members of the Woodlands Women’s Institute was held in the Woodlands Hall on Thursday. Despite the very severe conditions during the winter and the fact that a number of flowers are later than usual, the entries were very good, .while the quality was very even making judging a difficult work. Included in the various entries were some very outstanding flowers, iuclmling a. fine delphinium and a huge red (self) Darwin tulip. The exhibit of gerberas was 'exceptionally good, and the new double variety caused considerable interest.
