Hickey’s rooms’:—Alessrs. T. Hickey (chairman). Button. H. Gordon, C. J. Tabb, Al. Delaniere, Fleming and Roberts (secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Alessrs. do Aloutalk, Beattie, Inskip, Upton, Griffin and McCaklon. Mr. B. Roberts and Air. R.. Fleming were appointed joint secretaries. 'Flic action of Air. 0. J. Tabb in. sending a telegram of condolence to the parents of the Misses Lnjnley was endorsed. 1 It was decided to have posters printed to advertise the meetings, the first of which will be held otn 30th. October. A donation of 6d. will be’ asked for. Officials were appointed as follows: : Handicappers: Cycling, Mr. R. D. Black; sprints, ADr.- T. Hickey; distance, Air. C. S. AI orris; field events, Air. B. N. Griffin. Children; Boys and Girls (A. and B.); Air. H. Gordon ; Junior Girls and Ladies, Air. G. AY. Button; Junior Buys. Air. T. Hickey. It was decided that the ages of the grades taken throughout the season, be as the age at '3Cth .October. Mr. C. J. Tabb was appointed results steward. Programme Committee, Messrs. Button, Hickey and Carter, s Messrs. Gordon, McCaldon and Alorris were appointed started. : The following judges were appoint-ed:—-Running Events, Alessrs. Upton, Wilkinson and Jephson; field events, Messrs. Beattie and Shceran; timekeeper, Air. 0. Creagh; referee, Air. C. S. Morris. The programme for the opening night on the 30th. October was left to a ‘programme committee who will make public the events to be run. Nominations arc to be in by the 24th. October. The secretary was instructed to write the Borough Council, advising them of the committee’s intention to. commence the season on the 30th. October.
