NEW JAPANESE WARSHIP
FIRST OF PROGRAMME TOKIO. Juno I.—" What is described as the “powerful warship” Shokaku will be launched to-day at YokasuJc,a, in the ])resence of AdmiraL Prince Fushima, Chief of the Naval General Staff, and probably 100,000 people. The type to which the .ship belongs has not been announced but it is. most likely that the Fihokaku is the first of throe or four battleships which Japan is believed- to be building. If so, the advanced than bad hitherto been generally believed.
