-MILK FOR BABY GIRL

LOXDOXf ."May 11. —Disclosure last night: A lather used milk provided for his baby girl to feed a ferret-, which he was looking after for a friend. This was discovered by an X.S-.F.C. C. inspector at Warrington, Lanes., who found that the. man and his wile were constantly quarrelling. The ferret was the cause. The wife objected to the man giving it the baby’s daily pint of milk, paid for bv the local authority. The X.S.P.C.C. official magazine, tile Child Guardian, says: “The child had to drink tinned milk which disagreed with her. “As a result of the- inspector’s action the ferret was returned and babe gets her milk.”
