Aim Gillis, who found high favour with moviegoers' when she appeared as Reeky hatcher in “The Adventures" of Tom Sawyer”, is in the title role. in a simple straightforward way, the drama tells the story of the little orphan’s efforts to get along in New York, after leaving her farmer-adopt-er because of his unkind treatment. She is helped on her way by a young truck driver whose object, in life is to make a success as' a prize fighter. Later she -meets up with him again, and does her host, with the ' help of her newly-found friends in the city, to aid him in reaching ,his goal, w In the supporting cast are such favourite players as Robert Kent, handsome young actor who is seen as Annie’s prize fighter friend; and June Travis, who supplies romantic interest with liiin.
