Following representations by school authorities in Napier in recent months to have the question of the employment. of boys before school in the morning investigated'., n raid on- milk vendors was carriecl out oil July 26. Tltere was a sequer last week when four milkmen were charged in tho Magistrate’s Court, < Napier, with employing boys under'the age of 10 before 7 a.m. FiliesJ amounting to 10s and cost's were inflicted by Mr. J. Miller, S.M. The ! magistrate commented on the injurious effect such early rising might Wave on boys. ~
