H. \Y anil aw capably acted! as Al. » After a dainty supper had been served by the married ladies, Air. Rolf, on holialf of all present, presented Airs. Alottram with a travelling rug. and a wallet of notes was presented to Air, Alottram, with best wishes from all. Airs. Alarm, president of the AYcmen’s. Institute, asked Airs. Alottram •o accept a bouquet and an institute silver spoon, from her fellow members, with their best wishes, the speaker emphasising uow Airs. Mot-tram’s help as ■a member would lie misseu. Stan-shuiy. DANCE AT TOATQA (N'ews Correspondent.) A most enjoyable dance was held recently in the Toatoa hall. Splendid luusif was supplied by Air. B. Alunro, with several i njoyable extras by Airs. F B. Starkv and Airs. Al. Almira. Thu duties of AI.C. were very capably carried out by Air. R. S. Rutherford-. A waltzing competition was won by * Airs. Geo. Brown and Ala-. L. AlcDona Id. while Airs. J. Anderson and Air. T. Wipaki were announced as winners of a guessing competition. - During the evening two delightful solos were rendered by Airs. F. B. Stalky and Air. B. Alunro, with encores. An action song given by- Airs. Al. Alunro'and party was warmly applauded . Alter a very dainty supper had been i ujoyed by all. dancing was continued until the early hours.
