A LOR E WHAKAT AN E AGIT ATI O N ‘ ‘AIONSTER PETITION ’ ’ With a view to demonstrating the widespread desire of the people of bring the proposed new East Coast access road through the town a monster petition has been, .launched and is being signed by all residents in town and district. The petition when completed will be torwarded on to Air. A. G. Hultquist, AL P., for presentation to the Minister. It is anticipated that something like two thousands signatories will append their names before the list- is closed. Those who have not yet signed are asked to .make a point of doing'so m. order to indicate the strength of public opinion on this,-important matterinquiries may be made at. A. J.
