Cora Witherspoon, lttienne Giraruofc and E. Allyn Warren. “Tort of Seven Seas” revolves about the love of Aiadelon (Alaureen O’Sullivan) for Alarms (John Beal), wli/o leaves the girl behind him when he no longer is able to restrain his longing to sail away to the far-away places he has always dreamed! of. During Ins absence Aiadelon becomes- betrothed to the wealthy Panisse (Frank Morgan), and it is this complication winch Aiarius faces when he returns from the sea. Cesar (Wallace Beery), owner of tlie marine bar and father ot Aiarius, unearths a rough but practical philosophy which guides the various protagonists of the drama to then respective destinies. The new picture is based on the triumphant stage play, “Fanny,” written by the noted French dramatist. Mareel Pagnol, who authored the piav, “Topaze” in which Myrna. Lory made her first step toward screen stardom.
