The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Go. Ltd, report as follows : We had a lull yarding of pigs in all classes. Competition for baconers, porkers and good store pigs was keen, with prices at late rates. Slips and woaners were in poor demand', passings being frequent. Prices realised were : Heavy prime baconers, £3 13s to £3 Ins; medium baconers, £3 to £3 8s; heavy porkers, £2 7s to £2 11s ; lighter 37s 6d to £2 ss; buttermilk pigs, £2 8s tot £2 55.; smaller, 35s t<> £2 Os; good store pigs, 32s 6d to 38s; others, 35s to 31s; slips, good, 21 s to 22s Od; weaners, 14s 6d to 19s; small weaners, 9s to 13s; sows close to farrowing, £2 7s Od to £2 15s. Sows with litters, £3 5s to £0 ss; choppers, £2 to £2 10s. ’
