Under the Act. unregistered dogs may be sold or destroyed, the writer continued, and a good clean-up would make owners of dbgs more careful. He also urged that dogs should be chained up at night. The county dog registrar, Mr. Jim*: A. Cameron, reported "that he had experienced much trouble trying to register unregistered clogs, and frequently had to make several calls to register one dog. •' “I venture do say that -50 per cent, of tlu> dogs, in the county are not registered,” declared Or. J. E. Benson, who urged! that registration tees should he raised. In reply to Cr. F. S. Bowen, the. chairman said that it- was an offence to have an unregistered dog, whether of not the ranger had called to effect the registration. . Cr. C- Tietjen stated that at a recent dog show not one *of the degs was registered. ( . The county clerk, Mr.. F. T.
