Old Pupils’ Association was held in the: school recently, .when Mr. A. 8. de Montalk presided ever a lair attendance! oi members. .. J lie minutes oi the previous annual meeting were read and approved and 1 the secretary’s report cm the year’s activities was received. The balance-sheet was read and adopted. Before the election oi officers. -Mr. de -Montalk proposed that the headmaster of the school be elected patron automatically: and that the president be elected for a period of one year only, except, by resolution of a special general meeting. The proposal was carried.

The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: Patron, Mr. A. 8. de Montalk. • President, -Miss J. Kelly. Secretary, Miss k. Jcphson. Assistant-secretary, Miss C. Anderson. Treasurer, MV. J. Inskip. Assistant-treasurer, Mr. L. Conner. Committee. Miss P. -Mansell. Miss 31. Day, -Miss A'. Hickey. -Mr. A. Fleming. Mr. K. Fleming. -Mrs. 8-. Fleming, .Mr, \Y. Cordon, 3lr. B. Chambers, M'r. T. Hickey. -Mr. I). Dawson. Before vacating the chair in favour of Miss 'Kelly, Mr. de Moutalk expressed his appreciation of the help and co-operation given to> the High School by members of the. association and hoped that a success! ill year would be enjoyed. The annual .subscription was fixed at 2s Gd and Monday,. 28th. August was arranged as the date tor' the annual ball, and it was left to the skretary to make arrangements accordingly. It was decided to make a special effort to increase the membership and to appeal to all old pupils' to join the association.
