A. .most pleasant gut evening was field in the Waimana Hall recently, the guest of honour being Miss Aloira .Fleming, who lias since been married. The evening, was spent at dancing, the music being supplied by Air. and Airs. King, Al iss Ward law and Aliss ALc Connell. Air. Hi. Wardlaw capably carried; out the duties of AI.C. AJiss Joyce Hodgson gave a very clever exhibition of tap dancing, and she received great applause. Vocal solos were given by little Aioniea Boynton, and Air. Al. Addison, on behalf of all present, asked ALiss Fleming to come forward and accept the many valuable and' useful gifts from all present, with their best wishes for her future life. Aliss Fleming also was presented with a silver sandwich dish from the members of the Basketball Chib, with good wishes. Air. R. Kivpth, on behalf of tiie guest ol honour, in a few well-chosen words, thanked all for the pleasant evening and the beautiful gifts, which were much appreciated.
